@GreenClermont@ALegendaryDrops Do you have some movies in mind? I don't mind being wrong, there are a lot of movies I love, but I don't consider them art
@rtchuckles@ALegendaryDrops Yeah when I play Super Mario Bros, I'm not playing games, I'm engaging in art.
I love Movies and Games, but they're just that, and I don't care much about art
@27fj56qnsn@ALegendaryDrops I can't, but I don't think anyone can without using vague terms that will nearly encapsulate everything humans do.
I heard one term, art must be useless, as it cannot have any other use, but that might be to restrictive.
@ALegendaryDrops Games are not art, neither are movies, they're entertainment.
I don't seem to understand why we need to elevate games to art, just to justify our enjoyment of them?
@BlakjakTheGamer@Pirat_Nation They own the right to the name Tetris, not the gameplay. Anyone can make a Tetris like game, they just can't call it Tetris without a license.
@lightandshade@IGN Steam developed a lot of useful features for their customers while having zero competition.
Epic thought they could steal Steams customers by making exclusive deals with the publishers, while charging the same amount, for their basic bitch service
@harab_man @Konstannnt@AfricaFirsts You can not project the world on a square 2d map without distorting the size of the landmasses, or you end up with this problem:
@realdoomleika @userJJ89 @ALegendaryDrops 5% over 5 years would net you 27.6%.
10x+ (1000%) would be over 58% a year over 5 years.
Invest 100 USD with a 58% PA over 30 years, you'd have 100 million USD, over 50 years you'd have a trillion USD.
