Como ex Presidenta y como ciudadana argentina, mi agradecimiento al staff de abogados de la firma Sullivan & Cromwell LLP que llevaron adelante la defensa del Estado argentino, a partir de enero del 2020, en la causa YPF que se tramitaba ante los tribunales de Nueva York.

Como abogada, mis felicitaciones por haber sostenido los argumentos jurídicos de la Argentina en cuanto a que las disposiciones del Estatuto de una sociedad no pueden prevalecer sobre la Constitución Nacional y el ordenamiento jurídico de un país… que es nada más ni nada menos que reconocer la soberanía de los Estados.

P/D1: Justo es reconocer que la posición de la Argentina siempre fue apoyada por Estados Unidos; tanto en su administración demócrata como republicana.

P/D2: De esta manera, queda más que claro que la expropiación con fines de utilidad pública de YPF se hizo conforme a derecho.

P/D3: También queda claro que la decisión política de recuperar YPF y nuestra soberanía energética fue estratégica para nuestro país; porque con el desarrollo de Vaca Muerta, a partir del año 2012… hoy podemos decir con orgullo que Argentina tiene superávit de miles de millones de dólares en la balanza energética.
