@ShabanaMahmood@MoJGovUK It’s all well and good talking about prisons but you appear to be silent on probation. You need probation to be able to safely managed the proposed exodus. Please speak up about what you are planning to do to help staff deal with this.
Probation staff will be left feeling angry, upset and attacked today after last nights Panorama. Shame BBC couldn't work out who broke a once award winning service. Check on your colleagues, talk to your trade union, you're not alone together we can fight to restore our service.
@matt_dathan@thetimes Ah yes, because it's going so well! No AP beds, a large number being released NFA and set up to fail; next to nothing time to inform victims, for them to prepare/flee where appropriate and no emergency accommodation for them if they do get notified more than a week in advance. 👌🏻
I'm the past I've been criticised for being too political in my job as an a&e consultant.
I disagree - what's happening to our patients is a political choice.
I am in a blessed position of being able to see the reality of what's happening to the NHS.
The GMC says we have a duty to highlight unsafe care.
Only politicians can truly make change
Hence why I feel that it's not just my right to be outspoken and political but I have a duty to speak truth to power.
A widely shared tweet is often the best way to get politicians and journalists to hear the reality.
Hence why I will continue to speak out when I see our patients and staff coming to harm
@EasterlyView@jimbrownblog Was easier to fit in the character limit - hopefully from my tweets you can see that I am not a fan of anything dehumanising people.
All staff event this morning, thank yous are NOT ENOUGH. Stop saying how proud you are of staff & thankful, it does not help our crippling caseloads & crushing anxiety as a result of the ongoing failures of this service, to PoPs & to staff. Action over words. #Probation#HMPPS
Second, there was no evidence that SSJ considered if rule 2(22) was justified in circumstances where (as the SSJ belatedly conceded) it did not apply to writen reports other than those in dossier accompanying referral to the Parole Board.
The decision to make rule 2(22) was unlawful for 2 reasons.
First, it was made for an improper purpose which breached A5(4) ECHR, namely an attempt by a party to judicial proceedings to influence to his own advantage the evidence given by a witness employed or engaged by him.
Today is the biggest strike day in decades.
Teachers, junior doctors, civil servants, university staff, Coventry Amazon workers, London Underground staff.
700,000+ workers on strike, fighting for fair pay and a better deal.
Victory to the workers!
There haven't been many times (considering the nature of our work and lack of respurces) in the past 7 years, but today I have been pushed to my limit at work and feel like I'm going to implode. Any ideas from those who have escaped #Probation? What did you do next?
