Big news for all Albertans.

Alberta’s government is modernizing physician participation rules to give doctors flexibility to work in both the public health care system, and private settings. This Dual Practice Model will increase the number of surgeries being done in Alberta, decrease wait times, and ensure that Albertans get the care they need in a timely manner.

We stand by our Public Health Care Guarantee. No Albertan will need to pay out-of-pocket to see their family doctor or receive a medically necessary treatment.

@SheCalgary I think It depends on how trusted the source is. For example, if we met & you gave me your card, I'd likely feel confident the link would redirect as intended. But let's say it was a card left on my car, I probably wouldn't? The resume came in digitally w/o context so it's suss.

I just received an unsolicited resume from a candidate that provided a scannable QR code rather than a web link to their portfolio. I'm cautious of QR code scams, but appreciate the ingenuity. The candidate can likely view metrics on who scanned & viewed it.

And no, I didn't scan it. QR codes can be used for evil. As someone who is in a hiring position, I don't think this is a good addition to the resume.

@AdamSinger In a way, this is more of a management issue. When you keep a poor performer on the team, they aren’t inspired to be better by the people who do work hard (regardless where from). Instead, they breed resentment and bring everyone’s productivity/morale down. This is resentment.
