Congrats to Saddiq Bey on signing a 3yr, $55 million extension with the Pelicans.

So instead, I did a quick video on Jalen Duren's contract negotiations and why it would be insane for him to take the $9.6M qualifying offer vs. Detroit's $190M contract offer.

@ShamsCharania Amen’s number is set. While Ausar is the better defender, his offensive impact is nowhere near his brother’s currently. I’d expect Ausar’s contact to be around $30 million AAV. A 5 year $150-160 million extension would be amazing.

@esidery @espn If contracts were based strictly off regular season he’d get $40-45 million no question. I think this ends up around Sengun at $37 million. He’s shown he can help a team reach the 1 seed, but obviously needs to step it up in the playoffs. Still only 22 yrs old and can get better.
