Catchers throw the most of any position on the field. If your kid has the best arm on the team, be careful around pitching and catching on same days/weekends. Having the best arm on the team can be a blessing and a curse. Protect it at all costs.
Baseball is an amazing game. It can take you a lot of place and provide you countless relationships, memories, opportunities.
Thankful for what this game has given to me. Hope to repay it to the best of my ability every day.
There are a lot of good ways to DEVELOP your Arm.
But PLEASE don’t forget that there is NO substitute for THROWING!

Thread: something we see a lot from our high school athletes is the “I throw a curveball” slider. This is where an athletes claims to throw a curveball but when measured in Rapsodo and videoed it becomes clear that the ball spins more like a slider than a curveball.
Healthy food/hydration.
Remember, the best recovery solution is to never develop a work capacity problem in the first place. At those ages, the priority should be on training to build a higher level of resilience. They’re not highly trained enough to impose considerable fatigue.
