@OnlyHereForGolf @acaseofthegolf1 For all its flaws, the OWGR Tournament Field Rating is a pretty robust way of measuring the relative quality of competiton. You have to remember that a this level of golf, the difference between being on the PGAT and having no status on any tour can be a couple of putts.

@acaseofthegolf1 As a foreigner I hated attending live sports events in North America until I realised that the sporting contest is entirely secondary to the ability to sell stuff to a captive audience. The people running professional sports in North America care nothing for the sport itself.
