@AllisonDaurio Yes! All of this is so wrong and so painful. I explain it to people as we make less than chipotle workers after 6 years of education after the bachelors, a masters, and 1000s of hours of clinical training
@megtbear If you can move to your new city early, do it! It took me much longer than I expected to get settled in, and once you start grad school it will be harder to find time to put together that bookshelf 😂 also relax as much as possible!!!
@JSchleiderPhD@DavidLPayneMD Yes!!! I felt this so much when I worked in the ICU providing therapy for terminal cancer patients, and then later tx suicide on an inpatient psychiatry floor. Those research emails just seem so ridiculous in that context
Today I learned that:
- Some the most high achieving students were not awarded NSF GRFP because the reviewers perceived them as being not qualified enough
- Some the most high achieving students were not awarded NSF GRFP because the reviewers perceived them as being too qualified
