@JazzNationNews@BensHoops@CHoltSports Been “out” on Cody for a while. He’s not developing fast enough to matter, and now he’s never going to see the floor with the team transitioning to “win now” mode. He might still become something, but it won’t be with the Jazz.
@law_brian@KevinOConnor I don’t think you can assume the Lakers will be better during the swap years. The Jazz are gonna be loaded and younger. Especially since Kessler can’t stay on the court due to health issues.
Unpopular opinion: letting Walker go to the Lakers is better than signing him to a crippling contract. Jazz got picks that they can now use to fill the gap and go get a defensive C elsewhere.
@Post40_ As a childless uncle (not by choice), I don’t expect my nieces and nephews (with whom we have been very involved) to have any obligation to care for us in our senior years. My wife and I will make do. We do hope for the occasional visit or call to keep up with them, though.
I know it’s ’dumb trade season’, but seeing all these fake trades for Ace Bailey makes me see the downside of the Jazz’s ‘bring them along slowly’ methodology. The rest of the league views Ace as a near-bust because he didn’t play a lot at first, and no one paid attention later.
@DCon90@jazzwithtaz Not gonna lie, that day broke my NBA fandom in a way that’s never quite recovered. I still love the NBA, but now my emotional investment is 100% with the team, never the player.
@jazzwithtaz On the bright side, if they both meet their potential. We could be looking at TMac and Vince if Toronto didn’t break up the band too early.
Utah Jazz hot take: I don’t want to re-sign Walker Kessler. He’s missed an entire season last year and thinks he should be paid top money despite it. Last time he pouted through a season he was bad. He’s going to do it again if we re-sign him.
@GBSHansO Started wearing readers around 48 for up close stuff. Distance vision is still really good, but my arms aren’t long enough to hold a book and read the small stuff anymore.
@jazzwithtaz A plus of this trade is it aligns the Jazz timeline much better. JJJ is really the only outlier. It could also bring absolute Cap Hell a few years down the road when everyone is extension eligible around the same time. I’m not convinced the Griz would be interested in KD, though.
@GBSHansO Not to brag (totally bragging) but I used my summer lawn mowing funds to buy the rifle with rapid fire. Dominated our neighborhood laser tag nights. Good times.
@DLocke09 In the scenario where the Jazz find something medically with DP that scares them, is the right move a trade up for AJ or just take Booz and keep your assets?
