🚨🚨Tamil Nadu Excise Minister K. Vignesh has clarified the state's roadmap for liquor policy:

• ❌ No privatisation of TASMAC in the near future.
• 🚫 Immediate prohibition is not on the cards, but the long-term vision remains total prohibition, after creating the right social and economic environment.
• 🍺 TASMAC-attached bars will be upgraded with better ambience, improved hygiene, food safety standards, and stricter regulation to eliminate political interference.
• 💰 Reforms such as the privilege fee on distilleries and breweries are expected to generate an additional ₹800 crore for the state by plugging revenue leakages.
• ⚖️ The government also plans to tighten enforcement against MRP violations, improve empty bottle collection, revise FL2/FL3 licensing, and ensure equal procurement from all distilleries and breweries.

The Minister reiterated that the focus is on cleaning up the system, improving transparency, and reducing malpractice, while working towards the party's long-term commitment of prohibition through a phased and practical approach.

தமிழகத்தின் உரிமைகளை முன்னிறுத்தி, கனிம வளங்களைப் பாதுகாக்க எடுத்துள்ள நடவடிக்கைக்காக மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. ஜோசப் விஜய் அவர்களுக்கு பாராட்டுகளும் நன்றிகளும்!

ஆனால், இதோடு ஒரு முக்கியமான கேள்வியையும் எழுப்ப வேண்டிய நேரம் இது.

கனிம வளங்கள் கொண்டு செல்லும் தடையை நீக்கக் கோரி, தமிழக அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்த உடனேயே கேரள முதலமைச்சர் தமிழக முதலமைச்சருக்கு கடிதம் எழுதுகிறார்.

ஆனால் தமிழக எல்லைப் பகுதிகளில் மருத்துவக் கழிவுகள், இறைச்சிக் கழிவுகள், கோழிக் கழிவுகள், மின்னணுக் கழிவுகள் உள்ளிட்ட குப்பைகள் சட்டவிரோதமாகக் கொட்டப்படுவது குறித்து தமிழகத்திலிருந்து மீண்டும் மீண்டும் எழுப்பப்படும் நியாயமான கவலைகளுக்கு ஏன் அதே அவசரத்துடன் பதிலளிக்கவில்லை?

நமது மக்களின் உடல்நலம் மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் குறித்த இந்தக் கோரிக்கைகளுக்கு ஏன் தொடர்ந்து செவிசாய்க்கப்படவில்லை?

2025 ஜனவரியில் தேசிய பசுமைத் தீர்ப்பாயம் (NGT) கூட, தமிழகத்தில் மருத்துவக் கழிவுகள் கொட்டப்பட்ட விவகாரத்தில் நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதில் ஏற்பட்ட தாமதம் மற்றும் அமலாக்கக் குறைபாடுகள் குறித்து கேரள அரசிடம் கடுமையாகக் கேள்வி எழுப்பியது. இருந்தும், இந்தப் பிரச்சினைக்கு நிரந்தரத் தீர்வு காணும் அளவிலான உறுதியான அமலாக்கம் இன்னும் ஏன் காணப்படவில்லை?

தமிழகத்திலிருந்து கேரளாவுக்கு கனிம வளங்கள், காய்கறிகள், பால் உள்ளிட்ட அத்தியாவசிய பொருட்கள் தினமும் செல்கின்றன. ஆனால் பதிலுக்கு, நமது எல்லைப் பகுதிகள் சட்டவிரோதக் கழிவு கொட்டும் இடங்களாக மாறக் கூடாது. இதற்கு தமிழக அரசு உறுதியான நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து, கேரள அரசிடம் வலுவான முறையில் இந்தப் பிரச்சினையை எடுத்துரைக்க வேண்டும். @CMOTamilnadu @TVKVijayHQ

இன்னொரு புறம், செண்பகவல்லி அணைக்கட்டு பிரச்சினை ஆறு தசாப்தங்களாகத் தீர்க்கப்படாமல் உள்ளது. நமக்குரிய நீரைப் பெற முடியாமல், தென்காசி, விருதுநகர் உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் சுமார் 40,000 ஏக்கர் விவசாய நிலங்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

At South Western Railway HQ, Hubballi today. Met Shri Anil Kumar, DGM, along with the PCOM and CPTM, and submitted three petitions:

• Daily Bengaluru–Tirunelveli Express via Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Tenkasi

• Weekend special on the same route

• Carmelaram stoppage for 17235/17236

The demand is already there. Hope the service is, soon!

This is the HSR route @CMOTamilnadu should push for.
High-speed rail is about building economic corridors, not just faster journeys.
South India especially Tamil Nadu's industrial belt must be part of India's long-term HSR vision. Connecting Chennai, Hosur, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, and
Tuticorin would strengthen manufacturing,
improve logistics, boost tourism, and support exports, subject to strong demand and economic viability.
