aaaaaaaaand THAT attitude from the "old guard" of US soccer is why the round of 16 is our ceiling
"who's gonna pay for all this free soccer?" is about the dumbest response to all this that I've seen... not shocked it comes from Alexi Lalas
Gregg Berhalter says the U.S. isn't setting up Christian Pulisic well enough for success 😬
"I don't think there was enough intention to get Christian the ball in those (wide) positions."

Algerians doing jigs in Kansas... Brits eating barbecue in Texas... Koreans doing full on kegstands in Mexico... just goes to show that the entire world can be united by the simple concept of getting really drunk and watching a sporting event
@TheTartanScarf All the bars by North Station (TD Garden) are big/fun but expensive and will be slammed. Lots of great smaller bars just outside downtown including Phoenix Landing, the Banshee, Shine Square Pub, Parlor, etc. looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying the World Cup and Boston!
I like to call this type of person a “Noah Kahan American”. They make up about 80% of the city of Boston and have made an otherwise cool city a cultural hellhole
VAR checked and deemed Fernandes “accidentally handled the ball while grappling with an opponent.”
The knock-on (no pun) of this incredible, atrocious, baffling none decision could actually be the end of @SpursOfficial as we know it.
Madness.
Interesting stat:
Spurs haven’t gone 2 weeks during the season without a new injury since March 2023. 3 years of ACL injury after shoulder injury after hamstring injury. One player comes back and 2 are injured. For 3 years straight. Normally long term too
Just bizzare and sad.
A first half that could not have gone much better for @NFFC
They lead 4-0 at half-time and are heading eight points clear of the relegation zone as it stands 💪
