Tonight, I visited FoodCycle in Ely!
Having volunteered with FoodCycle, knowing what a service they provide, it was a privilege to return as a Senedd candidate. They serve community meals: a three course meal, free for anyone, made from food that would have gone to waste.
In a sense this is deeply cynical - as you can't really "split the vote" in the new electoral system.
But decent case for saying that Reform coming first in the national vote = crisis for devolution settlement. And so avoiding that should be top priority for pro-devo voters...
🌼 Farage’s disdain for Wales and the Welsh language is plain to see.
Which is why we must stop Reform having any influence in the Senedd. A vote for Plaid Cymru is the only sure way of putting Wales’ interests at the heart of government.
Three independent commissions have backed devolving policing to Wales.
Scotland, Northern Ireland – even London and Manchester – have powers over policing.
Asked if Wales should too, the Home Secretary says:
“No I do not.”
Labour has no respect for Wales.
Huge credit to Dr Rob Jones, who I have worked alongside for years to get Wales-specific justice data published.
For too long, Wales has been treated as an appendage of England, which lets down our people.
This is a step towards a system that serves the people of Wales.
The momentum is with Plaid. Vote Plaid Cymru to stop Reform on 11th September. Back Taif Ball – Barry’s local champion.
Mae'r momentwm gyda’r Blaid. Pleidleisiwch Plaid Cymru i atal Reform ar 11 Medi. Cefnogwch Taif Ball – pencampwr lleol y Barri.
‘What glories!
Treasures the like of which had not been seen since Howard Carter opened Tutankhamun’s tomb.
Hospitals, prisons, schools.
Railways.
Lucky Wales was to get £445m, the same amount as was being given to refurbish Leeds station.’ https://t.co/bPfKnYpko7
When global market forces devastated Welsh livelihoods in Port Talbot, Labour dismissed Plaid Cymru’s calls for nationalisation as ‘pipe dreams’.
Now it’s England, they act.
Labour has taken Wales for granted for far too long.
Plaid Cymru councillors in Cardiff, Rhys Livesy and Andrea Gibson, tabled a motion calling on Cardiff Council to support the devolution of the Crown Estate to Wales.
Cardiff Council pay nearly £37,000 in lease fees to the Crown.
