@LungJuiceCough_ @Id1oterror2 @lionslavellan Certainly got inspired by Tolkien, but it’s a different planet/world and it’s a multiverse, so you can do whatever you like without messing with timelines and whatnot

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@HaleyMetzger @hargikay @pirateconductor @_celia_bedelia_ Surely you can see there’s a middle ground between menstrual huts and going full Pooh bear as you launder bloody underwear in public

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@DeiMacD I think you’re missing the fact a leader of this anti trans movement literally called for cisgender men with guns to go into women’s washrooms. With their guns. To “protect women.”

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@GoldCoastBlonde @migrainedinpgh @baddienut @JunusAnna Is the point, “if someone is not classically femme they’re not a woman”?

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@More_Plato @Mikeggibbs Context is important. This “parents know best” rhetoric is now brought out as a shorthand for “parents know best that their girls are girls and their boys are boys, and it’s wrong to give kids who think they are trans any support if their parents don’t believe in being trans”

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@ABDanielleSmith This has been cropped so much it doesn’t seem to have any actual verifiable information?

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@NuhfareusJ @lazarwolfbk @TarMairon3 @mattxiv Additionally, how far along the androgenization process does the apparent advantage lay for any given sport? How long will someone require HRT before they hit that threshold?

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@NuhfareusJ @lazarwolfbk @TarMairon3 @mattxiv Tell me what that has to do with, say, curling. Sport shooting. Gymnastics. Sports for kids in middle schools and high schools. Every sport is different and so the guidelines should be as well.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@bkunzles @Forever_Wario Dude. It doesn’t say what happened to him. He could have lost his job. He could’ve gotten very sick and needed time off/expensive treatments. It sounds like he was managing his money fine before, he had $12k in savings. We don’t have enough info to judge his lvl of responsibility

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@WesternHemlox @CGriwkowsky @markusoff Yes

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@camaron_empanao @phycorockchick @heyyitsjanea It didn’t.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@JacobMSmall1 @JamesAbrenio @elonmusk @anothercohen I’m not sure whether Icelandic law or California labour standards is the relevant one, but he’s broken both of them. I’ve never heard of Halli, and the first two facts I know are that he was working at Twitter and Elon Musk publicly disclosed his medical status w/o consent.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@zakktech @simsyg @litcapital @elonmusk @anothercohen If he’d been hired to be a data entry monkey I can see how this would be relevant. But he was acquired as a startup founder with a valuation in the hundreds of millions for his strategic expertise, connections and innovative ideas. That doesn’t = 8h daily typing.

@TimmCTV I’ve gotten 11. I get panic attacks from this sound, I have ever since the Fort Mac fires, and I’m sooo not the only one. This is irresponsible!

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@AB_EmergAlert I turned my phone off for a few minutes to gather my composure, turned it back on and I’ve had four more alerts for a total of 11. This is too much. I’m not the only person who gets panic attacks from this sound after the Fort Mac fires. Please use the system responsibly.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@JayViperTV @ChocChipPony Literally no one in the queer community is mad at the idea of women-only spaces. What we’re mad at is denying some women the right to use them or be treated like humans at all.

That’s just wrong.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@monetxchange I was shocked at how unfunny her talent was compared to her presence til that point. Not surprised that talent was bottom 2 and fair call on the lipsync, but overall same

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@btmybrother @Esqueer_ Do you legitimately think that trans women are in a better place than cis women in that climate? Genuine question.

[Barbara Weber @PlainoldBabs]

@heyimmickey98 @Ioveharrington Maybe he’s the guy on Reddit with the cbat kink
