Congrats to junior Henry Cox on his 15:52 run today at the @MHSAA Division 2 State Finals, which was good for 27th place and All-State honors (the fastest A.S. grouping for D2 ever). That’s an improvement of 1:30 and 88 places from last year’s finals run!

Big night for PXC! Congrats to Henry Cox for tying the school record (set in 1986) with a 15:44! Josie Longcore made the girls’ all-time top 10 board, with Isaac Veen, Donovan Ryan, and Liam Troutner joining on the boys’ board! Those 5, plus Trent Hansen made All-Conference!

Huge PR recognition today! Congrats to Junior Henry Cox on his 7th place finish in today’s Ottawa Hills Invite. Henry ran a 16:05.3, which thrust him into 2nd place on the PXC All-Time list (from not being in the top-10 before today)! Way to go, Henry! Proof hard work pays off!

Congrats to both boys and girls teams for their outstanding performances at the Delton-Kellogg Invite this evening. The boys easily won against a strong field with 36 points, and the girls were runner-up. Shout out to Henry Cox on his first ever 1st place performance! Go Trojans

It was awesome to see the PHS 2023 senior athlete awards go to a pair of PXC runners! Congrats Grace Pettit and Thai Nguyen for winning the Streidl Senior Athlete Award tonight. Gotta go back and check, but pretty sure this is the first time both male and female winners ran XC!

Spent the day watching @UWLCC at the @NCAA D3 championships! Hoped to see @kenzerhill run, but as first alternate, she didn’t get a chance to do it this year… So much fun seeing the best D3 had to offer on a cold, windy day in East Lansing.
