Yesterday we launched the Royal Docks corridor.

A road built for industry now has wider pavements, separate cycle lanes, new trees, flower beds, new lighting, play equipment & new crossings.

Now safer and more welcoming; fit for the fast growing local community & businesses.

I recently met with students from Oasis Academy Silvertown.

We spoke about the development of the area and its impact on them, especially about feeling safer travelling to and from school.

They were passionate and engaged and it was great to hear their perspectives.
