The World Economic Forum @wef estimates it will take 131 years to achieve #GenderEquality. We think that’s FAR too long. Watch our video to help #BeatTheClock.

Menstrual health is everyone’s responsibility.
Boys & men can help end stigma by:
✔️ Listening
✔️ Learning
✔️ Supporting
✔️ Speaking respectfully about menstruation
Together, we can create supportive communities for girls & women.
#EndPeriodStigma#MHDay2026#MenstruationMatters
On #MenstrualHygieneDay, we gathered voices from our staff from Turkana, Kajiado, Kilifi, Kisumu and Kwale alongside our partner to champion menstrual health and hygiene management.
Here is what they had to say in the video below.
Menstruation is normal.
This #MHDay2026, let’s work together towards a #PeriodFriendlyKenya where every girl and woman can manage menstruation safely, confidently, and with dignity.
Together, we can break the silence, end stigma, and support girls to stay healthy and in school.
We strongly condemn the intensifying attacks on women and girls in Kenya. The continued killings are a reminder that women & girls are not safe despite laws, commitments & policies. Every woman & girl has the right to live free from violence, fear, & harm. #EndFemicideKE#EndGBV

We joined H.E First Lady of Kenya @MamaRachelRuto at @StateHouseKenya today for a high-level #AfricaForwardSummit side event to tackle a timely question: How do we keep kids safe in an AI-driven world?
The best answers came from the children:
📢 "We want to explore the digital world without looking over our shoulders." - Grace*, 14
📢 " Teach us how to stay safe online, and include us when you make the rules." - Brian*, 15
@WorldVisionKE, we believe child protection doesn't stop at the school gate or the front door; it extends to every screen, every platform, every digital space our children inhabit.
We are proud to stand with every effort that ensures children are protected online and empowered to shape the very future of technology.
Children in Africa are growing up in a rapidly changing digital world. The question is, are our systems growing with them?
Tomorrow @StateHouseKenya, @WorldVisionKE joins @WorldVisionEARO at a pivotal side event during the #AfricaForwardSummit on “Building Safer Digital Spaces for Children in Africa in an AI-Driven World.”
We are honored that Her Excellency, the First Lady of Kenya, Hon. @MamaRachelRuto, will be hosting this critical conversation, bringing together Africa’s leaders to ensure that digital transformation puts children’s safety, dignity, and well-being first.
EMPOWERING IMPACT: MWARP STAFF STRENGTHEN CAPACITY THROUGH SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME WORKSHOP!
@Mwarpkenya is participating in a #Sponsorship_Programme workshop facilitated by @PlanKenya , aimed at equipping staff with essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively implement and manage the programme.
This workshop is designed to deepen staff understanding of the Sponsorship Programme framework, focusing on its core #principles, #objectives, and the critical role it plays in transforming the lives of #children, #families, and #communities. Through interactive sessions, participants are gaining insights into programme design, beneficiary engagement, and the importance of aligning interventions with community needs.
A key highlight of the training is its strong emphasis on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Staff are being guided on how to track #progress, measure #impact, and ensure #accountability through data-driven approaches. This includes learning how to collect, analyze, and utilize #data to inform decision-making and improve programme outcomes over time.
Additionally, the workshop is strengthening staff capacity in effective programme implementation, ensuring that all activities are carried out with #efficiency, #transparency, and in line with best practices. Discussions around safeguarding, ethical engagement, and community participation are also central to the training, reinforcing MWARP’s commitment to responsible and inclusive development work.
