@papermetroid Being a fan is investing in the series and finding the things you love about it that makes you attached and allured. You can get that through other eyes if you can’t play said game directly.

you can “objectively” hate a game without playing. reasons can be external (dev, etc.)

@IXEN0_ This same sentiment caused me to play it and I very much DID NOT enjoy it. Music and world is nice. But the gameplay loop of xiii hurts. XIII-2 was where the real fun was and felt a bit more alive. I enjoyed that way more

@Slappy422 you can play the story at your leisure without the need of a party. it’s also free till lvl70. Honestly, it’s only MMOs that I’ve taken the most time with and I feel rewarded when I can invest small time when feasible. MMOs are more than their stories and characters.

@GP050620 it didn't live up to its original vision nomura planned for. which is why i think KH4 is setting up the verum rex verse. because nomura wants to return to the "versus XIII" concept but can't do it with XV but briefly teased it in kh3. and you don't get the ending to XV in game

@LordofCinder24 III 3d,V, or VII are my personal introductory recommendations, the job system is something I think every first timer to the series should experience, and kefka is one the series best antagonists

@grimfoss @LordofCinder24 The remakes are not an entry point…it continues the universe of the original in fucky nomura convoluted fashion. Pc ports suck. Download an emu and play it, if it looks like shit use shaderglass, or be like me and build a crt cart. swap out crt with a scaler if that’s a hassle

@PunishedAoi @LavenderGhast Pomni is for sure an adult in her 20s, on epics part, the curves are deliberate, for sure somebody at epic is a gooner. I say don’t buy the skin, show them you don’t want it. Complaining is just one battle.
