My first paper with @odedaha@Eranium_V@norbertinhawaii recently got published on JGR-Planets! it uses climate and ground ice models to simulate the effect of ground ice migration on the CO2 cycle in past climates.
Check it out here https://t.co/Z24m2m1Zf0
Congratulations to Elad David @eladdavid6 for successfully defending his MSc thesis! Elad explored the effect of ground ice redistribution on the paleo-CO2 cycle in recent Mars, and will continue work on Mars volatiles during his PhD at @PlanetsAtWIS
Congratulations to Eran Vos @Eranium_V for successfully defending his PhD thesis! Eran modeled the physical and chemical evolution of the martian polar caps, and will continue to work on understanding the climate of Mars at LMD, Paris
Exoplanet masses from transit-variations: @AstroGidi, @AvivOfir and @odedaha present PyDynamicaLC: an open-source simplified photodynamical model. Masses of 10 small planets (3 previously unknown) were determined.

Exoplanets with rings: In their recent study, Edan Rein and @avivofir created a high-precision and computationally-efficient light-curve generator for an exoplanet with rings. The source code is public.

In their recently published study, Yair Judkovsky, @AvivOfir and @odedaha present an analytic method for lightcurve fitting, demonstrating that the vanishing transits of KOI 120.01 can possibly arise from a planet undergoing rapid orbital precession. https://t.co/3SElNm7FbD
@ESO_IR2020 workshop on ground-based thermal IR observations - spectacular success! TONS of great talks, posters and acquaintance with many of the leaders of this discipline.
I also talked about our observations of protoplanetary disks with VISIR. :)

Micro cold traps on the Moon: A recent paper in @NatureAstronomy by @phayne, @odedaha &
@norbertinhawaii shows ice may be more accessible than previously thought.
Full paper is available at https://t.co/hgiAlkbKyg
Congratulations to @AstroGidi on obtaining a https://t.co/b9Dg7kQgJu degree. @AstroGidi developed a Photo-dynamical model for better constraining small Exoplanets masses.
Good luck in your Phd at the @UniHeidelberg!!

Don't miss the talk by our own Yair Judkovsky about probing exoplanetary orbital precession from transit variations at the Planetary Dynamics Conference, held at @mpi_astro! Session 6 (4.6.19), 14:30. (https://t.co/wrmYKhTEVj)
We've had the pleasure to host Prof. David Stevenson of @Caltech. His fascinating talk about mixing and unmixing of planets culminated in the following life advice: "To determine the interior structure of a planet: thermodynamics first, gravity later."
