@taipei8964 @clearfails @zewmerz@Tyler_McV "Anyone could fine it", with the right tools. You are deeply forgetting that this was a private server endpoint left on public by accident meaning basically unauthorised access.
@zewmerz @clearfails @Tyler_McV Maybe "stolen" is not the right word to describe how the files were acquired, more like scraping files that were acquired with no authorisation at all.
@GyarikYes @clearfails @zewmerz@Tyler_McV Datamining files a provider gives you the right to download (e.g. a Valve game) is generally legal. Acquiring and mining files from a server endpoint that normally requires authorisation can be illegal even if that endpoint was mistakenly left as public.
@HakureiRyan Not a big fan of any religion that involves worshipping a higher power, as far as I know with Buddhism they just praise the Buddha as a kind of leader of some sorts.
@StarlitBell@mushroomfromgd getting resource hungry but thats only because big mods that are Forge only need features that are only found on Forge anyway.
@StarlitBell@mushroomfromgd Forge/NeoForge there is really no difference to Fabric in terms of performance, both forge loaders have been heavily using mixins for a while now which is that same technology when Fabric first launched gave it its performance boost that made it popular. I do see Forge/NeoForge..
@nijuhinaaa @dealfredwins @BasP32588163@mine_tech_blog Forge/NeoForge have APIs that big minecraft mods need that as far as I know Fabric does not have, not trying to shit on Fabric.
@StarlitBell@mushroomfromgd Can't tell if the last point is bait or not lol, curseforge and forge mod loader are completely unrelated on who runs each project.
@Calmo495@Mrdecent000 If you have access to channels that the BBC run (our public national broadcaster) then you have to pay that licence because they do not run ads, the thing is the BBC is the only network that does this so you have to pay whether you watch them or not.
