John Harbaugh said, "The only failure in life is not getting back up. When you get knocked down and stay down then you're a failure. But you're never a failure if you get back up."

Resilience is your ability to face adversity and move forward.

It means grit and adaptability.

@MaxwellTinsley Back at you man! Make it a great day!

[Jon Beck @CoachJonBeck]

The value of competing in sport is not in winning, losing, earning a scholarship or getting to play in college or professionally. The value of sport is in the development of discipline, grit, facing adversity, habits and a growth mindset. Use the game; don’t let the game use you!

[Greg Berge @GregBerge]

Lead Yourself FIRST.

- Be on time
- Be positive
- Say please
- Help others
- Pick up trash
- Give your time
- Say thank you
- Open the door
- Serve your teammates

This is Leadership.

Especially in today’s world.

Lead by Example.

[Justin Su'a @Justinsua]

“What’s wrong with you?” vs. “Walk me through what happened.”

“How could you do that?” vs. “Help me understand your process?”

“You’re wrong.” vs. “I disagree.”

“Don’t be nervous.” vs. “This is exciting. You’ll feel some nerves, that’s okay.”

How you frame it matters.

[Jon Beck @CoachJonBeck]

Instead of just telling teammates to work harder, show them how to work hard. Instead of just telling them to have a great attitude, display one. Before you can lead them with your words, you have to lead them with your actions. BE the kind of teammate you want. Lead by example!

[NCAA Women's Volleyball @NCAAVolleyball]

The largest crowd ever to attend a women's sports event.

Studies show that playing team sports is a greater predictor of success for doctors-in-training than test scores. That’s powerful! Team sports are life lessons: leadership, commitment, respect & dedication just to name a few. Learn them & let them lead you to a successful future!

[Jon Beck @CoachJonBeck]

You don't realize that your body language is like a neon sign. It screams everything you’re not saying. Primarily, it shows your character, attitude, intention & ability to handle adversity. Keep positive body language, especially when things are hard. It shows you can overcome!

[Greg Berge @GregBerge]

11 things Great Teammates DON'T Do:

1. Quit
2. Blame
3. Complain
4. Bring Drama
5. Point Fingers
6. Show Up Late
7. Make Excuses
8. Make Poor Choices
9. Run From a Challenge
10. Bring Negative Energy
11. Badmouth Their Teammates

Be a GREAT Teammate.

[Greg Berge @GregBerge]

🎥 Brad Stevens said, “You got a choice - you either come in & let your circumstances control your attitude - or you let your attitude control your circumstances.”

- Attitude matters.
- Mindset Matters.
-Your choices matter.

This is why Attitude Matters.

Master Your Mind.
