Hey everyone! I want to thank everyone again for all the support on the mod. Last night discussing with other developers on the team we realized that we do need around 10-18 people to help stress test and bug test the mod before the closed beta in the near future. I am looking for people who have experience in testing and finding bugs in games and other mods and who can be available almost "On The Spot" when needed. Also you do not need to always be available to VC. Please understand if you are selected their will be no recording or streaming allowed and their will be missing features. This is as I stated purely for stress testing and finding bugs. If this applies to you, sign up with the link below:

We are looking to do test tonight/this weekend to all who apply ✅
Hey everyone… it’s been a while since our last update! Today I’ve got some great news and a few announcements to share with you all.
The last few years of development on Paint Ops have been rough. The Black Ops 3 updates really set the mod back, as they broke various things within the mod and forced us to figure out how to fix and work around them. A big thank you to Rattpak for being able to figure out all these issues and get the mod back on track!
The biggest issue that had been plaguing the mod since its creation back in July 2021 was the progression system.
I am thrilled to announce that after nearly 4.5 years of development and especially the last 2.5 years of @zm_rexx working tirelessly to figure out the correct method to implement a clean and robust progression system, we have successfully implemented the progression and it is now 100% complete!
This breakthrough happened within the last two months, and it is an incredible feeling to finally have this weight off our backs and now have a fantastic progression system fully working.
So you may be wondering… what is left to do before release?
The only major feature left to complete is the killstreak system! After that, it’s mainly bug fixing and thorough testing before we move into a public beta. Also another thing is we have hit the global limit for Call Of Duty Black Ops 3. We are actively working to figure out how to unload stuff so we are able to add more into the mod. If we can do that then every single menu will be redone in Paint Ops as well as we will be able to add more content into the mod. If we cannot figure it out unfortunately some menus will not be able to get the redesign like you see in the other menus. As we learn more I will make a update on that.
I also have a few other announcements to make today. Since there has been a delay over the last two years from the initial projected 2024 release date, other developers on the mod (as well as myself) have been working on additional content ahead of the public beta release.
You may have noticed that the Paint Ops logo on our social media pages changed sometime last year. I commissioned an artist to create one final redesign of the Paint Ops logo along with new main menu artwork that I’m happy to finally show off today, as seen in the screenshot!
I’m also excited to announce that Paint Ops will launch with 4 maps at release! Last year, @eMoX_MaNgA created a brand new unique map for the mod called “Splatter.” A sneak peek of the map will be dropping in the near future, so stay tuned!
On top of that, I have personally been working on two additional brand new maps for the mod. One of them may possibly launch alongside the release of the mod, bringing the total launch map count to 5! Stay tuned!
And finally… the question I’m sure many of you are wondering: when will there be a closed beta?
Over the years, many of you have talked with me about the idea of a closed beta. Initially, I never wanted to do one as I always wanted to simply release the mod publicly for everyone on day one. However, after thinking it over during the last year, I realized that running a closed beta would be the best way to stress test servers and iron out any bugs we may have missed as a team.
In the near future, closed beta sign-ups will officially open for anyone interested in participating. If you are selected for the closed beta, you will receive a commemorative and exclusive “Beta” clan tag that only beta participants will be able to use!
Also… you may have noticed the “Dev” clan tag. That clan tag will be exclusive to developers who worked on the mod and will let everyone know that you are playing alongside an actual Paint Ops developer!
Exciting times are ahead for this project. Thank you to everyone who has stuck around and patiently waited all these years to play Paint Ops. #PaintOps @PlayPaintOps

Actually, I'm feeling good today on my birthday, so I want to showcase one of the new additions to the mod that came with the delay - Barracks! Just like in the old school Call of Duty games, the Barracks menu will track your stats and challenges, and it’s also where you’ll prestige once you hit level 55. 🔥

I turned 25 today... where has the time gone? Regarding Paint Ops - it’s still being developed nearly every day for the past four years. I decided against the December release because it was honestly not finished and let alone finished at the quality I want it at. The extra time we have taken has allowed us to add in tons of things that I felt was needed to make it a more complete experience. I've kept a lot of the new additions to the mod under wraps, but they'll be revealed in the near future. I can't wait to show everyone! 👍

Hey all, I just wanted to give a quick update on some good news related to Black Ops 3 - It seems Steam fixed on their backend the framerate issue on Black Ops 3 Multiplayer! No more insane fps drops without the T7Patch! It also seems the menu stutter is not as bad and was fixed as well. So Paint Ops will now run smooth without the T7patch! We still are recommending you to run the T7Patch to protect yourself against RCE's and other vulnerabilities. Also regarding updates to the mod, stay tuned big announcements are on the way!

We don't have to be on the "Down low" Paint Ops is like any other bo3 multiplayer mod, zombie's mod, custom multiplayer map or custom zombie's map. All we did three years ago was this like any other person using the Black Ops 3 Mod Tools on Steam:
@PlayPaintOps PLEASE, I hope this releases.. Was genuinely more excited for this than H2. If it means keeping quiet about it until it literally comes out I think it's for the best so we actually get a chance to play it
@PlayPaintOps Andy u need to have more maps on release. Just port in the top maps from Mw2-Bo2. Ppl literally have bo3 custom maps ripping off Nintendo. Just go all in and toss in every old map and gun from the golden era too
To reiterate just incase - Paint Ops is still just a Mod on made on the Black Ops 3 Mod Tools and will be available via Steam Workshop just like any other Black Ops 3 Custom Zombies Maps, Black Ops 3 Custom Multiplayer Maps and Black Ops 3 Zombies and Multiplayer Mods.

BREAKING: Activision has sent a cease & desist letter to the H2 Multiplayer mod — requiring them to take down the mod that would have added MW2 2009 content to MW Remastered on PC
Hey all! Just a small update to say things are still being finished on Paint Ops. We are currently finishing attachments as well as camos. We are still dealing with a issue with a system within the mod that hopefully the bug will be ironed out soon. Then we will be able to move onto finalizing the last things within the mod. A lot of the progress on menus and finalizing other things has been halted because of this issue as well as it has been hard to find someone with strong enough knowledge in LUA who has more time then our current LUA developers that would be able to assist them in getting this over the finish line while they focus more on urgent bugs. If you or someone you know is able to do that please reach out to me. The LUA developers we have do amazing work it is just finding the time for them to finish stuff their stuff they are working on for the mod and fixing bugs has been the issue from the start of this project three years ago. Just know we are always giving it our all and we are still on track to releasing this year! @PlayPaintOps
