I usually post these (while adding a few new ones) every year on Tiger Woods' birthday, but who wants to wait that long when we're going to see him back on the course Thursday?
Here's a thread of some of the most insane Tiger on-course stats in his historic career --
So obviously I am biased here. My dad Butch Harmon is a finalist for the 2024 class of the World Golf Hall of Fame. IMO, I believe it would be hard to find someone who has given more to the game. He has sacrificed the majority of his life to help so many achieve their dreams.
As he plays yet more good golf, worth a reminder how ridiculously consistent as an elite golfer Rory McIlroy has been.
In November 2009 he entered the world's top 20, and since then he's never left. Thirteen years as one of the 20 best golfers in the world.
Remember coaches:
if you’re not jacked, don’t run a 4.4 or bench 405 you won’t be a good sport or strength coach
Oh wait, it actually matters more about how well you can teach & how much you know?
Be a warrior on the field, and a gentleman/lady off of it. Compete your hardest, but once the game is over, you need to accept the outcome, manage your emotions, and respect your opponent.
What is it with lazy, inconsiderate golfers who cannot be bothered to repair their pitch marks.
A correctly repaired pitch mark will recover in 24 hours, if left unrepaired for two hours it will take two months to recover!
As a parent, there’s hardly anything you can say from the bleachers that actually helps your child play better, so you might as well limit yourself to cheering, and let the coach do the coaching.
