@BOATcommishFF Teams created for (relatively) big $ instead of yearly dues, bought and sold on open market, initial intake invested, yearly payout of the investment income for the winner...
@BOATcommishFF One problem with 100% of Dynasty leagues is there is no long-term investment, just yearly dues. People come and go at a whim. Would love to see a league similar to real sports...
@SOTStallions@CalvinM31487569@RepoleStable@RussBrandonUFL@DDykemanUFL@TheUFL They still have a chance... But wholeheartedly agree that the UFL can improve scheduling, tiebreaker rules, and most of all communications. The premature announcement of DC clinching is something they need to learn from to not be seen as bush league.
@CalvinM31487569@SOTStallions@RepoleStable@RussBrandonUFL@DDykemanUFL@TheUFL ... to specify it as 'best overall percentage in games amongst tied teams' vs 'H2H' as that IS ripe for confusion. For lame comparison, many fantasy football platforms interpret H2H in different ways, some doing as UFL is doing, some doing as SOS argues (but they ALL EXPLAIN it).
@CalvinM31487569@SOTStallions@RepoleStable@RussBrandonUFL@DDykemanUFL@TheUFL The issue seems to be whether the UFL's application of H2H for multi-team ties is fair, there doesn't seem to be a disagreement as to the actual math being used that results in a DC clinch. It's not unfair, but it is not ideal and the UFL DEFINITELY needs to clarify the rules...
UFL playoff race update. Just one spot remains. Louisville or Birmingham. Birmingham needs a lot to go their way as they can only get in with a 2-way tie with Louisville, they lose a 3-way tie if DC is involved. #UFL2026@TheUFL
@ByAnthonyMiller DC had not clinched yesterday, the league made a mistake in announcing they had (and admitted it today). But they did clinch today with the Louisville win.
@Samsam143435923@The_UFM It was a four-way tie with LOU, DAL, DC, and BIR that would have been their undoing (or 5 way with STL), but you were correct that they didn't clinch yesterday, have now.
DRAMA in the UFL playoff race, in that the league says DC has clinched a spot, but using H2H as the first tiebreak, that wouldn't be true. They could still lose a four-way tiebreak situation for the last two spots. @TheUFL
@RepoleStable Request clarification on how the UFL is handling the head-to-head tiebreaker. Using "traditional" methods, DC could still lose out on a 4-team tie at 5-5 with BIR, LOU, and DAL for the last two spots, yet they are being deemed as "clinched"???
@UFL_PR Request some clarification on what exactly the UFL's methodology for handling tiebreakers is. Using "traditional" Head-to-Head calculations, DC could still lose out on a 4-way tie with BIR, LOU, and DAL for the last two spots, yet they have been announced as "clinched"???
@The_UFM There may be a methodology difference, but I do not have that as being the case. DC could still lose successive H2H tiebreakers with a four-way tie vs LOU, DAL, and BIR.
@UFLDefenders If H2H is the first tiebreaker, I still have DC as having the possibility of missing out. In a four-way tiebreak at 5-5 with LOU, DAL, BIR (with STL 6-4 taking 2nd spot), BIR and then LOU win the successive H2H tiebreaks....
UFL playoff scenarios for Week 8: DC, St. Louis, and Orlando all clinch a spot with a win. Columbus is eliminated with a loss AND a DC or Dallas win. Houston is eliminated with a loss AND a Dallas or Louisville win. Complete details on the UFL reddit page. @TheUFL#UFL2026
