@FrisbeeGolf12@Stinkiepeet@2aQueer@amazonmilkfrog Lwk this doesnt defend your position at all. Do you have a viable solution to maintain/create positive Native American representation and also provide awareness and assistance to communities in need besides approval from a tribe in the style of FSU? Cause if not then it's erasure
@FrisbeeGolf12@Stinkiepeet@2aQueer@amazonmilkfrog So completely erasing them is the best way to solve this? Florida State actively works with the Seminole tribe to have respectful and accurate depictions. They also provide a variety of scholarships to tribe members. Is stopping that aid helping to end a history of genocide?
@soymuygayhahaha@Thomas_Astruc Yeah? We're called American in our native language so when people are speaking that language they should call us that (in some form at least)
@Weedjah33@Thomas_Astruc Then just tweet in French bro π₯ I have no problem with whatever you call us in your native language but when you're speaking English it sounds really dumb to directly translate it
@gloopbastard America leaving the rest of the world behind and letting y'all solve your own problems sounds like a great idea ngl. It would save us trillions of dollars
@WildLawyerCat Idk tbh. I didn't know y'all call us United Statsians in y'all's native language when I tweeted this so mb bro. English doesn't have the confusion between the continent and the country so I never really thought about it
@jarcrejected@WhateleyWulfwyf@romansnby Thanks for explaining cause I was really confused! We call ourselves Americans cause we used to be called British America and the name stuck in the English speaking world (I assume its because we learn that America is two continents, so its less ambiguous who we're talking about)
@WhateleyWulfwyf@romansnby Yall gotta come up with a better name then UStatians if you gonna get offended Americans. Just call us a slur or something it would be less embarrassing
