@DeanOelsch Look at the demographic that goes to 'academy' of this kind and ask yourself the real question why they are going?I also benefited from this, not saying it's wrong but it's not the same as when a union paid for 30 kids around townships to meet at Wanderers for quality coaching.

@DeanOelsch Unfortunately, as hard as it is to hear this, he is a part of the problem. Kids 6 - 13 aren't developed enough to hit the ball along the ground past the in field. The ONLY kids that go to a cricket 'academy' can afford to go to it, therefore dictate what they want to learn.

@SuperSportTV I don't understand what more @reezahendricks has to do. He is asked to bat 50 overs in ODI, 20 overs in T20? Does both successfully, gets benched in T20 and now can't make a team that can't collectively bat 50 overs. Please help me understand?

@DeanOelsch Well, they have a directive, a rather stupid one for an 11-man team. Extrapolate ALL the way to u13 and see how quickly it gets stuffed. From personal experience, you don't want to go to a tournament to carry drinks for 3/5 days in your school holidays.
