I think we have been obscuring the name Americans for quite some time. It should be only used for citizens, whether born or naturalized. Including illegal aliens in the term, Americans obscures the grouping of these two defined segments.

I don’t mind the government shutting down if it forces som Elon style automation and downsizing. Ultimately it isn’t a bad practice to look at every dollar spent and ask if it’s worth it. If the Dems prefer this approach to force reductions in spending then sobeit.
