Bicarb is used in baking (hence the name given to it nowadays) as a raising agent in many floury doughs, is used in cleaning with whitening, as well as mildew removal, is used to 'soak up' smells from the air (such as in your fridge,) and can even be used to help put out fires!

Dec. 30th is an odd day for a very versatile and important substance used throughout our lives; it's...baking soda? It's National #BicarbonateOfSodaDay.
Bicarb, or baking soda as we recognize it as, is the chemical compound Sodium Bicarbonate, and is used in a multitude of ways.

Dec. 30th is a fun time near the end of the year, because it celebrates what we all worry/ponder about - what do we want to achieve for next year?🤔

This Dec 29th is the start of a wonderful period of time in Australia for this year, as it's the beginning of #FallsFestival!
This massive festival of song, dance, food, and fun, will last until January 8th, and will take place in various local's throughout Australia.
