Great to hear from @justinmadders at the @acasorguk Disruptors to a Dispute event, setting out the Govt’s ambition to changing the culture in workplaces across the UK. Not just new rights, but new approach to better engagement & a tripartite dialogue with Govt, employers & unions
@acasorguk We need to combine a number of different methodologies to create a problem solving approach to maintaining the employment relationship. We can’t ignore rights-based policies in certain circumstances. But we need to focus on keeping people not dismissing them.
Employers, setting up a mediation scheme in advance of potential workplace disputes isn’t difficult, and can help put your employees at ease. Find out more: 👉 https://t.co/o4JDO0IspY
@YesDEMPlymouth If you are a local business and live within the City, find out more and make your own mind up. Should we be able to choose whether we want a DEM?

What an incredible experience #TheConstituent
It moved me to tears. So brilliantly written, produced and acted. The interplay of humanity was poignant and heart-rending
Please please tour
So lucky to live somewhere I can swim and walk on a sunny evening. Fortunately the joy was marred by a sewage slick off Plymouth Hoe as well as 3 areas of the waterfront where the drains were stinking. Come on @SouthWestWater and @plymouthcc This is not good enough.
@GWRHelp Shout out to the team at Paddington this morning. Calm and collected. Helpful. Managed a power cut and “trespasser” on the line that cancelled all trains for over an hour. A particularly helpful man holding a megaphone. Trains back up and running swiftly.
