16 days since the last game of the season and no news of anyone triggering Article 17 before yesterday's deadline. Perhaps they didn't know about it or something.
Not sure this is true. My Cardiff supporting mate was raving about him by the end of the season, having not been impressed at all by him initially. Suspect they'll look to get a higher level loan than Cardiff this time, though they'd love to have him back.
I don't really think it's up for debate that they're pushing it. For several months now they've made sure to get it out there how passionate he is about Chelsea. Whether it's effective or not isn't the point. They believe that pushing authenticity can be effective.
The idea they are “pushing an image” as if Chelsea fans are gonna buy it, is for the birds.
I highly doubt they spend their days plotting to improve his image. If that was the case he’d be doing far more than just releasing the occasional line in a story.
I judge the owners on actions and results, I reckon they’re smart enough to know that’s all fans care about.
🚨 Critics of Behdad Eghbali accuse him of paying too much attention to the running of every department of Chelses. People who have worked with him claim Eghbali’s passion for Chelsea borders on obsession. 👀

@333peterobinson@WilliamsStuart It's not irrelevant because in using 'not limited to' they've left it open ended for when the rule will be applied when there are starting stalls. Today's interpretation indicates that 6.2.2 does come into play for races with starting stalls.
That was in a sprint race, so obviously had more impact than a slow start in a mile and a half race. Horses regularly.miss the break because they anticipate the start. Are they all going to be NR's from now on? They should be under this interpretation of the rule.
Can't be emphasised enough what a terrible decision this is. The fact that the actual head of stewards was one of the stewards involved makes it even worse. Last night, a horse at Bath was slowly away because the rider didn't get the blind off. That wasn't declared a NR.
Having reviewed the start of Race 5 @EpsomRacecourse, the Stewards considered that BENVENUTO CELLINI (IRE) was denied a fair start which materially affected its chances and ordered that the colt be declared a non-runner.
@EwanMacKenna Yeah a nation fighting for survival is disgusting. One day we'll find out what happened in Russian occupied territories and I hope you'll have the decency to feel utter shame. I somehow doubt you're capable of even understanding decency though.
@alon_mizrahi Are you a natural fucking idiot or have you worked on it? What is it about that cockroach destroying millions of people's lives that you get all gooey over?
Something has convinced Xabi Alonso to take the Chelsea job despite much of the evidence saying he should stay well clear. The pressure is on him to show he's made the right decision. Link in replies.

@TheAlexBancila What you think really doesn't matter at all. As citizens of a country that has had a brutal war waged on it for over 4 years, they can do what they like. You've had long enough to get used to it without feeling a need to make stupid comments by now.
@DanielLDavis1 You have watched Russia grind away for over 4 years and that's the conclusion you come up with? There is no military solution for Russia. They can stop this pointless war right now if they want to. Putin's ego, fear and evil means they won't.
@buckleycarlson There really are a cohort of Americans who are so astonishingly thick that they don't understand Russia despises everything America stands for, or used to stand for at least.
@kennycollins88@mtgreenee He is currently ruining the lives of millions of people in Ukraine. Ordinary people seeing all they've worked for destroyed because of a little cockroach and his warped view of history. Maybe you should understand what pure evil is.
@daviddc14 They shouldn't be getting another chance at it, simple as that. No doubt that Rosenior was a poor appointment and he had to go but the owners lost trust in him after 3 months while trust in the SD's seems unbreakable. It's crazy.
I wouldn't be going anywhere near him. Watching West Ham over the.last couple of months of the season, one thing kept sticking out and that was that Bowen seemed to have lost all his pace. West Ham fans kept commenting on it as well.
Bowen would be a smart buy at a time the team needs a wide player who offers attacking threat. He’s not an Estevao but once he gets close to goal, there’s a good chance of him finding the right pass, cross or goal. Several clubs after him. No doubt it will be played down.
Malta woke up to a fireworks factory blast this morning near Magħtab/Naxxar.
A huge explosion around dawn sent a fireball and thick smoke into the sky, with secondary blasts rattling windows across the island. The shockwave was strong enough to be felt miles away.
Early reports say two men were taken to hospital with minor injuries and shock. No one was inside the building at the time, but the damage to surrounding homes and farmland is already being assessed.
Investigations are underway into what triggered it
