From 2014 to 2024, from my mid-twenties to now thirties, a decade of my youth has been spent worrying about the degeneration of India to a Hindutva narrative. It should not have been the case.
'We are the grand daughters of the witches you could not burn': A fresh incident of culture shock, as per Modi, was reported in Delhi, which is also the rape capital of India.

BREAKING | Supreme Court sets aside the NSA detention of Mulla Afroz, the alleged mastermind of 2024 Sambhal violence. The Court has struck down the detention order as illegal and imposed costs of Rs. 10 lakh on the State of UP.
Women activists and feminists have been saying this for generations, and yet when a man says stuff like 'Smash the patriarchy', it suddenly becomes a thing. This is also a problem, but also glad that a powerful man in mainstream politics is reiterating feminist politics.
Stop punishing women for the crimes committed against them.
Across our country, women are afraid to walk the streets, afraid of being harassed, afraid of being raped. And the government’s answer: stay at home.
This is patriarchy at work: a system that blames the victim and shields the criminal. It is time to smash it.
The solution is not to lock women inside. It is to make our streets safe, to confront the mindset of men who mistreat women, and to punish those who attack them, swiftly and without exception.
Thousands of students and young people are on the streets demanding safety for women. I urge even more young women, especially GenZ across India to come out in stronger numbers.
This government is deaf to your pain and will only listen when it’s under pressure.
Peaceful protest is your democratic right, and I stand with you wholeheartedly.
Is there a better time than now for the opposition to bring in a no-confidence motion? Why should the action in relation to the SIR row stop with punishing Gyanesh Kumar anyway?
When police lathi-charged Muslim voters in Sambhal during the 2024 elections, the ECI dismissed the footage as "false".
The clean chit came from Sambhal's returning officer Manish Bansal – son-in-law of then Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. @scroll_in

FRESH POCSO CASE REGISTERED AGAINST GEM GRANITES R VEERAMANI
SIT OFFICIALS SOUGHT THE PUBLIC TO SHARE INFORMATION AGAINST VEERAMANI
ISSUED AN EXCLUSIVE WHATSAPP NUMBER : 9345319676
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the POCSO cases against Gem Granites founder R. Veeramani registered a fresh case on Monday based on a complaint lodged by the mother of a minor girl. Meanwhile, SIT officials released a WhatsApp number and appealed to the public to come forward and share information about Veeramani.
This is the second POCSO case registered against Veeramani since his arrest on August 29. He is currently lodged in Puzhal prison, and SIT officials formally arrested him through the prison authorities.
The woman lodged a formal complaint with the SIT, following which the team inquired into the incident and registered a case on Monday.
Meanwhile, another woman lodged a formal complaint against Veeramani following the death of her daughter, a 16-year-old girl who was studying in Class 11 at a school in Teynampet in 2004. The girl had died by suicide by hanging at her house in Ice House.
The girl had apparently visited Veeramani’s house and remained aloof for a couple of days before ending her life. Her body was cremated at the Krishnampet crematorium, and Ice House police registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC.
Police said records relating to the case were later reported to have been destroyed when the Ice House police station was gutted in a fire in 2017. The case subsequently remained dormant. The woman came forward and lodged a complaint on Sunday after learning about Veeramani’s arrest in another case.
Based on her complaint, the SIT registered a case under relevant provisions of law and began investigating the matter. Police gathered details of the girl’s death FIR from the court concerned and the Assistant Commissioner of Police’s office, where a copy of the FIR had been kept.
The SIT was constituted by the Tamil Nadu Director-General of Police to investigate the POCSO case against Veeramani and related cases. The four-member team is headed by Additional Commissioner of Police P. C. Thenmozhi and includes Disha Mittal, J. Mutharasi and V. V. Geethanjali.
Police appealed to members of the public with information, documents or other evidence connected to the cases to approach the SIT or share information through WhatsApp at 9345319676. Police said the identities of informants would be kept confidential and that the information received would be investigated.
Police had earlier arrested Veeramani and a couple on August 29 in connection with the POCSO case and later on Sep 22, police arrested one Ganesan, a former staff member of Gem Granites who served in the firm for more than two decades, for the possession of a video clip in which Veeramani was abusing a minor girl.

Telugu actor Allu Sirish has approached the Hyderabad Police over the alleged loud music being played at a temple here in the late night hours.
#AlluSirish#Hyderabad
@hydcitypolice@AlluSirish@SHOFilmnagar Sir, kindly take steps to keep a check on the celebrations that have been growing louder with each year. Please restrict the pandals and implement strict measures for others. The noise and nuisance created till early hours is making us dread the festival itself in Hyderabad.
Children learn it by watching you.
And this is essential, when the child is put in a situation where intergrity is needed and fails.
You need to find out the reasons in a calm manner and help them make better choices.
And that is the biggest parenting challenge.
To help navigate their lives with intergrity in small every day life.
And the underlying principle for the above to work is that you and your child have a healthy normal relationship and not that of fear and manipulation.
'Special Intensive Revision is causing trauma for people,’ said actor Prakash Raj after a social audit of the exercise in a 10-day tour across Karnataka. He stated that the process was putting people in hardship, giving the example of living people being wrongly marked as deceased and removed from electoral rolls. His team had been documenting accounts of people allegedly affected by the voter-verification process.
Prakash Raj said around 1.8 lakh voters had been deleted during the recent verification exercise.

@ncbn Did AI write this, sir, since you seem to be a fan? People who are condemning the ECI for its lack of integrity & accountability, in order to add/delete voters arbitrarily, are the ones who respect our constitutional institutions. Please take time reflect instead of shitposting!
