@BowTiedHandyman Hopefully the developer can stay afloat. Years ago I watched multiple subs get crushed when a large developer declared bankruptcy. The downstream effects caused a ton of damage in the blue collar community.
I was watching my walk-in counter sales guy work this am & I started wondering what it would be like to actually clock out & shut it off @ 430 or 5. I’ve never done it & think I would really struggle with that much free time… not sure if that’s a good or bad thing

Update #2: dude that accepted a foreman position in early June to start on 7/11 texted me at 11pm on 7/10 saying he couldn’t accept the position.
Finding quality people is much harder than I expected. Its a demanding position but the comp is above industry ave
Hiring learning experience this week… gave my #1 choice a week to respond & in that time 2,3 & 4 all accepted other offers.
The margin between 1,2 & 3 was minimal then a big drop off. Sensed 2 was the most eager & would’ve accepted on the spot.
For us letting a kiddo “have a moment” is exponentially better than forcing something on them.
We accomplished so much more giving her ~45 secs to protest than picking her up & making her take a family pic, specifically trust & autonomy.
