Big news!! Today USCIS announced full premium processing available for EB-1C and NIW petitions as of 1/30/2023! In Mar, premium coming to OPT-based EAD applications & to some I-539s in May!
Given the new #Starbucks rewards policy & the $ I spend on this luxury, Iβll be cutting them out completely & fueling all my #immigration productivity w #DutchBros, which frankly has better coffee and rewards-and is far better to loyal customers.

USCIS better not mess up and ought to use all 280000 available visas by September 30. Not only is it shameful to waste precious visas but itβs also cruel to move eligible beneficiaries into next yearβs EB backlogs. https://t.co/SlgIaWbsJn
This is a great law nerd question with a big impact:
Asylum seeker is held in ICE detention in Louisiana. Immigration court processing the paperwork is in Minnesota. Judge appears by video from Virginia. Where do you file the appeal? 4th, 5th, or 8th Cir.?
4th. says itβs 4th.
It's incredibly worrying that the Border Patrol unionβthe people in charge of caring for babies in custody at the borderβis calling for permission to starve the babies.
The union used to tout the "humanitarian" work their agents did caring for babies. Now they want them starved.
Some of you know @SecBlinken is appealing court orders we won that compel issuance of immigrant visas to our #GoodluckvBiden plaintiffs. Today, one of those plaintiffs, a Russian activist, was ripped from his home today for protesting the invasion of Ukraine.
"...Ukrainians who present at land U.S. ports of entry without a valid visa or without pre-authorization to travel to the United States through Uniting for Ukraine will be denied entry..."
So asylum isn't a thing anymore? Do laws even matter?

For years, the immigration court in Atlanta has been called an "asylum-free zone," because of how hard it is to win a case there.
If you don't have a lawyer, your chances of winning becomes nearly zero. Since 2013, Atlanta judges granted asylum to just 10 people without lawyers.
