Asylum seeker is held in ICE detention in Louisiana. Immigration court processing the paperwork is in Minnesota. Judge appears by video from Virginia. Where do you file the appeal? 4th, 5th, or 8th Cir.?

4th. says it’s 4th.

It's incredibly worrying that the Border Patrol union—the people in charge of caring for babies in custody at the border—is calling for permission to starve the babies.

The union used to tout the "humanitarian" work their agents did caring for babies. Now they want them starved.

For years, the immigration court in Atlanta has been called an "asylum-free zone," because of how hard it is to win a case there.

If you don't have a lawyer, your chances of winning becomes nearly zero. Since 2013, Atlanta judges granted asylum to just 10 people without lawyers.
