@VolSignals AI slop…we all know where to get the right data set for SPX exposure but I would rather pay $300/month and have someone deliver me a ready to use product. Anything else is garbage…
@hekyoda Around 1pm, 7720 put and call buying was the most noticeable flow, but what was more interesting was that they were bought in very close quantities. If a MM is selling a call, hedging short delta by buying ES, and then another MM is selling a close quantity of puts, and hedging
@hekyoda Yes because the upside costs more than the downside. There is far more demand for upside (speculation) than there is for downside protection. Which is why we had spot up/vol up for a while now. As demand rebalances to “normal”, the skew will correct…hopefully!
