@redbridgeclean1 Redbridge really isnt what it was when I moved into the area in 2012. I think it has continually got worse (I have my views as to why).. I have now left the borough
@RedbridgeLive@NishkamSWAT@churchofengland When it comes to the good work of
@NishkamSWAT why have you airbrushed Councillor @RuthAtFairlop out of this tweet?
She deserves more of a mention than Councillor Athwal for this effort.

Thank you @RuthAtFairlop for your dream! It take one person to have the idea and a team to make that dream come true. This goes to show how a community can come together and really help make a difference 🙏🏽
@Kartik__Parekh will make a fantastic Councillor, in him I see a dedicated and committed individual who is seeking to represent the ward where he lives. I know he will continue to fight for all residents - so on the 5 May support him and turn Barkingside blue! @redbridgecons🇬🇧
Huge thank you to Dr Ali, Ian Diley & @cllrmarksantos for answering questions on our virtual Covid-19 meeting tonight.
Thank you to all my neighbours who joined to find out more about what we can all do to protect each other from the virus.

@CazFacePaint @Jas_Athwal Looks like the campaigning efforts from locals have embarrassed Jas into actually doing something.. WELL DONE HAINAULT RESIDENTS.
My Councillors should be ashamed of themselves. They say they arrange these meetings but never come around to say when they are - i live on Hatley Ave! This is just a photo op for them - look at them standing all smug in front of the residents. @deeps_k
@redbridgecons Looking at the graph Conservatives have been pretty steady at about 35% whereas Labour have been on a decline since about 1997. How low will they go?
@JulianPT158@Conservatives@redbridgecons But they are campaigning to get it reopened.. which is what I want. I didnt like the cuts (from both govt (and Sadiq Khan in 2017)) when they happened...I didnt like the station being closed.. but to change that I one needs to make a stand. Thank you for the articles again
@JulianPT158@Conservatives Again one can look at the past and say these people did that and those people did this... Or look to the future and try and change it. I know you know that @redbridgecons werent the ones who created the cuts nor did they close the Barkingside station...
@JulianPT158 Theres lots of people that say this cant be done, that cant be done and accept the status quo.. but there are also those who put in efforts for change. Change doesnt happen overnight - but it all starts by wanting and campaigning for it. I'm with them! We have everything to gain
@JulianPT158 Thanks for the article. It does say more about outside London rather than inside. Inside London both Boris and Sadiq closed stations/front desks again not too fussed who did what - just want the one local to me to be reopened.. and the building hasnt been sold off. It can happen
@JulianPT158 About money and who pays: Ultimately its the tax payer who pays. As a resident I would rather my money be spent to open the front desk and it all starts by making a stand. i cant change the closure (thats happened) but I can support those who are campaigning to get it reopened
@JulianPT158 Ok if you say "not really" then that answers my question.
As a resident I would like that front desk opened. Im not too fussed who closed it, but I would like it reopened and will support efforts for this - again not too fussed if that effort is from the Tories
@JulianPT158 Isnt that a start? With more concerted efforts maybe the govt. will think about reopening more front desks... One has to try something.. or nothing will change
@JulianPT158@redbridgecons No the article isnt about complaining about cuts, its about campaigning to get the Barkingside Police Station front desk reopened.
As a resident I would like it reopened and glad that the group is trying to do something
@GriffAurora@redbridgecons But does this Redbridge resident also know that Sadiq Khan cut £38m from the Police Staffing Budget in Jan 2017 that could have paid for approx. 1000 officers taking Met Police to the 32k figure that Sadiq Khan once said was his priority.
