Sometimes the best use of points isn't the highest redemption value, it's getting the trip booked
Needed a few extra AA miles, and Marriott Bonvoy's 38 airline transfer partners came handy.
Sure, the 3:1 ratio isn't amazing, but for last mile top ups, it can be worth it.
