A grandmother reached out to me. She’s 66, disabled, living with a brain tumor. But what shattered her wasn’t the diagnosis—it was what CPS did to her family across two generations.

She begged to raise her granddaughter when CPS first stepped in. She had a stable job, love, and a home—but they denied her. Why? Because the mother said she’d be biased. That was it.

Instead, CPS spent thousands helping the abusive mother “get on her feet.” They gave her housing, counseling, everything—then gave her daughter back.

A few years later, the same mother and her boyfriend were caught again. This time it was worse: her boyfriend molested the child.

The grandmother begged again—“Please let me raise her.” But she didn’t have the money to fight the system in court. So they adopted the children out. Gone. Stripped from her life, permanently.

She found bits and pieces on Facebook, watched them grow up in a wealthy home full of “rainbows, non-binary ideology, piercings, tattoos”—things she never judged, but that stood in contrast to the promise CPS made that wealth would fix it all.

Now her granddaughter is grown and wants nothing to do with her. She said, “You didn’t have enough. You weren’t successful enough.”

That’s what this system teaches our children: love doesn’t matter—money does.

But it didn’t heal anything. The trauma passed down. The new boyfriend is just like the old ones. CPS never fixed the cycle. They just relocated it.

> “Love corrects,” she told me. “And the system never corrected anything. They just erased us.”

This is what happens when CPS denies kinship placement. This is what happens when children are adopted out like property—with no voice, no roots, no chance to heal from what was done to their family.

She wept while watching my videos. Not because of pity—but because she recognized the cry. It was the same cry that’s been stuck in her chest for 20 years. The same grief we’re all carrying.

This fight is not just mine. It belongs to every family torn apart by lies, arrogance, and the false promise that government knows best.

It doesn’t.

We do.

And we won’t stop.
