@elonmusk@thackerpd I am the Digital Librarian of the Internet Archive, a non-profit public charity and a library which runs the Wayback Machine-- no one 'owns' the Internet Archive.
Taylor Lorenz is not my niece, nor have I met her.
@the_mod_woman @PoliticWise It’s crazy to me that ANY WW who isn’t anti choice would have been stupid enough to throw their vote away in 2016 because they were mad their candidate didn’t get the nomination - but there it is 🤬🤬🤬
It’s great that many companies will cover travel costs for employees whose reproductive freedoms are being rescinded by their state. They should also move their headquarters to states that protect a woman’s freedom to make her own decisions. Businesses can lead by leaving.
Let’s be 100% clear. If Republicans win control of the House, Senate and White House two years from now, they will pass a national abortion ban. And no matter where you live, no matter how pro-choice your state is, women and doctors will be locked up for practicing health care.
Overturning Roe v. Wade – after 5 decades of legal precedent – endangers the health of women in Arizona and across America. I’ve always supported women’s access to health care, and pledge to work with anyone to protect women’s ability to make their own decisions.
Don't forget, we could be living under a liberal Court majority right now. One that fixed gerrymandering & Citizens United. That's what the Clinton legacy would have been. We can't continue to hurt ourselves by not voting.
The man who stacked the court and made killing Roe v. Wade possible has been credibly accused of sexual assault, sexual misconduct, and rape by 15 women.
The House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act months ago to codify Roe. The Senate must reject the filibuster and pass it. This is the worst reversal of constitutional freedom since the Court gutted the Reconstruction amendments in the 19th and 20th centuries.
