@JezabelMontero @ananavarro Genuine socialism implies the means of production are either in the hands of the people or the state. There, you are allowed to privately own businesses. That’s capitalism. Capitalism with a strong welfare state is a ‘social democracy’ not ‘democratic socialism’

In 2020, there were protests and marches about how the election was rigged against Trump. That’s a problem with a republic

All the Nordic countries combined have a total population of around 26 million. America has two states alone with a higher population than that, with a total population of 330 million. They are massively different places.
