@advsanjoy Quite apt. Mumbaikars n Punekars (too) have lost all self respect by quietly accepting the hazardous Infra development by constructors -politicians nexus..the amount of money laundered in real estate in these 2 cities has no parallels
When banking professionals and businessmen were willing to risk all and stand for elections Mumbai rejected them for the usual Hindu-Muslim and Sugar/Builder mafia parties. Hell SoBo hardly turned up to vote. So sorry I have no sympathy for them. They deserve the shit show they are served every monsoon!

Bhutan has politely declined offers by Indian Oil Marketing Companies to buy E 20 petrol as Bhutan does not have the storage facilities for such a hygroscopic (water absorbing) fuel.
This is especially tricky in a Himalayan terrain with seepage in tanks.

#WATCH | Delhi | Animal rights activist & BJP leader Maneka Gandhi says, “Back in 1972, when Indira Gandhi was in power, India enacted the Wildlife Protection Act, a pioneering piece of legislation that was highly acclaimed worldwide. There were Jain monks, specifically the Digambara sect, who exerted significant pressure regarding this issue. These monks carry a specific type of broom-like whisk called a Pichhi tucked at their waist as they walk; it is crafted from peacock feathers. They urged that the ban should not apply to these feathers. Indira Gandhi agreed, and consequently, this became the only type of feather legally permitted for sale in India. Now, the thing is, these feathers do not simply drop on their own; a peacock sheds only one feather a month… Once the door was opened and the ban was lifted, a massive industry emerged. Because the feathers are so beautiful, everyone got involved... People started displaying feathers in their homes instead of flowers. The reality is that these feathers are now obtained almost exclusively by killing the peacocks… Back in 2001, I presented all this evidence to Atal Bihari Vajpayee and suggested we introduce an amendment to ban these feathers. He agreed, and the amendment was drafted and taken to Parliament. However, the Jain community exerted immense pressure from high levels, insisting that this could not happen. I was forced to withdraw the drafted amendment, and the matter was dropped. Now, my point is not that the Digambar Jains killed the birds, but rather that they opened the door; and once that door is opened, who knows what or who might walk through it?”
Can they find out what @ToyotaIndia@Toyota_India has to say about the impact of ethanol blending on their cars sold here?? I am told SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) has told the govt. that blending does no damage -- but innumerable car owners will attest that individual car companies and their dealers are telling us otherwise!!
@ArvindKejriwal If BJP were in your place, it would have been on roads and brought the politics to standstill...this concerns every Indian who owns a vehicle...take to street, rip the crony gadkari apart
@RaviSharmaTalks Bkl, sab log choice hi demand kr rahe hai, outrage is coz the option (you are talking about ) is not being given at all and no transparency towards consumers - the exact percentage of blending in the fuel they are sold...

@kbssidhu1961@ManishTewari first you advocate to remove punjab's claim over chd then you lay a claim on positions in punjab congress...sharam nahi aundi??
@ManishTewari@INCIndia Lol. You barely managed to win your own hometown n have zero mass support in punjab or even among workers, what are you crying about...funnier thing cong clearly gave a lollipop to pb leaders by having a huge ass n ineffective "poll team" n u r sad for that. LOL
Pallavi now that the Court livestream is in the public domain where the Attorney General is heard clearly admitting to the “ethanol experiment”, would you like to reconsider this mindless, unquestioning and uncritical report of yours just carrying the govt defence?
A private firm Nayara Energy working for profits can cut the petrol and diesel prices but public companies and government working in public interest can't..
