@PlanoGaming Because they wanna play it? Why do people keep posing this as some sort of alien concept or 'gotcha' for pre-ordering? Especially given that sometimes you can get incentives from doing it.
Why does anyone buy a game full price when years later they're cheaper? GOTCHA!! OWNED!!
@Islandhome4 If this is real then this is 120% an inside job to discredit the Stop Killing Games movement. Otherwise why would these people think threats would accomplish their goals?
@ImperiumFirst You realize there's an inference to be made that short form content (which includes gay greentext tweets like yours) also do the same thing right?
Basically if you have a significant footprint online chances are you're a complete and utter fucking retard.
source- some retard who doesn't know how game dev works and being so naive they think a AAA game studio would do a shift this large due to "feedback" from redditors.
Here is my grand conspiracy:
- Elder scrolls 6 was much further along
- 80% of all assets for the game were done (weapons, textures, player models)
- would have released this year (2026)
- was on creation engine 2
- utilized similar technology as starfield for proc gen locations across an empty desert
- many of startields systems ported over on same engine, with minor tweaks
- Bethesda saw starfield backlash
- scrapped the proc gen and swapped back to handcrafted
- upgraded engine to “3” so it wasn’t so obvious
- biggest time sink was changing how loading “cells” work so we have less loading screens. (Perhaps non existent but unlikely)
- now we are waiting for them to remake large scale chunks of the game world that were thrown out for being procedural.
@Jdog_4789 It would take another entire year of flighting, doing fixes and money to make this happen. Not impossible because modern console architecture is closer to PC than ever, but the work involved can't be understated. I think most of the people who made the game even work are gone too
@Omega_J12 You're totally right it's the higher ups (who all used to be lower level employees) fault that a game is dogshit. Not the lazy crybabies who don't like to work and are constantly caught posting online about how much they hate the franchise they work on or their audience.
@coreybrickley So we fire those people and then what? The dumbfucks who actually made the bad games are in charge?
If the greedy executives are to blame then so are the lazy developers who protest to get paid more to do less work. You need 200 people making a game because nobody does anything.
@realityuk Normies don't care about backcompat otherwise Xbox would have won already.
They care about pricing and if it plays their libraries or not. Guess where they've built their libraries? Sony.
Only way Xbox gains ground is inventing a way to do one time library transfers from PSN.
@Sillystarrykity That's a drawing of a non existent entity that has no autonomy or value that you are assigning an intangible grouping to based off your own perception.
i.e., you're a dumb bitch ass nigga
@Moerthomore It takes a real loser to judge people based off nothing. At least they're working in the industry instead of being a faggot on twitter to strangers.
It was 12,772 Brazilians with an average age of 52 over the span of 8 years. Mostly diabetic and the actual interesting part that makes no sense is everyone over 60 showed no signs of decay at all.

Breaking new study: Processed no-calorie sweeteners found in Diet Coke, Gatorade Zero, Halo Top, and Extra Gum linked to a faster decline in memory and thinking skills.
@Dexerto He's completely wrong and got mind raped by RDR2. Complaining about childish humor in GTA is like complaining about drama in RDR. The entire franchise is built on innuendo and absurd stupidity.
@DMC_Ryan They're not going to do MP for any of these because it would drastically expand the scope and development cost of them. Not to mention their online components are playable in MCC right this very moment.
@SplendidMaChao It's because high fidelity games take a team of hundreds getting paid 120k+ a year to make. Not because they use motion capture or hire Hollywood actors for voices.
@HAmorata Being passionate about an IP is about the most goyslave coded phrase I've ever heard. You should be passionate about your family, work or personal goals. Not how much you love some piece of media a company produced to make money.
Seek mental health treatment if you care about IP
