@bottomlineibd I can only speak for myself, but at that age I was adaptable and wasn’t dwelling on the details. I just wanted to get better and go back to school / see my friends. It shaped me in a positive way I’m certain - I would say my parents took the brunt of the stress at the time!

@CrohnsColitisUK Why are healthcare professionals telling unwell patients that diet is irrelevant? I was told this for years as a teenager meaning I had no interest in eating healthily, which was detrimental. I’ve had to figure it all out myself. This still happens to others now. Why is that?
