Scotland days at school, kids faces painted in saltires at nursery, the excitement and togetherness that this tournament brought to everyone in our country means so much to us all.
No one wanted to progress more than us players, and as much as the experiences and memories weโll share will last forever, that doesnโt take away from how much this still hurts.
What the gaffer has given this group, on and off the pitch, has been immense. Not only by taking us to major tournaments but by how together we have felt as a squad and as a nation. Representing Scotland means everything to us and to him Iโll be forever grateful.
I hope the generation of young Scots who experienced this World Cup grow up believing that seeing Scotland on this stage is the new norm.
Thanks to everyone in the stands and in the streets of Boston and Miami, and to everyone back home for the incredible support.

The Gorbals district of Glasgow became one of the most famous examples of urban poverty in Britain during the 20th century. Originally developed in the 19th century to house industrial workers, many of its tenement buildings had fallen into severe disrepair by the 1950s and 1960s. Overcrowding, poor sanitation, and inadequate housing conditions contributed to high rates of illness and poverty, despite the strong sense of community that existed among residents.
By the mid-1960s, Glasgow Corporation had begun one of the largest urban renewal projects in Europe, demolishing thousands of tenement homes and relocating many residents to new housing estates and high-rise developments. Social workers and youth organizations played an important role during this transition, providing recreational programs, childcare support, and community services for families affected by the redevelopment.
The Gorbals later became a symbol of both the failures of industrial-era urban planning and the challenges of postwar public housing policy in Britain.
Between 1957 and 1977, Glasgow demolished more than 90,000 homes as part of its slum clearance program. At its peak, the city had one of the highest rates of overcrowded housing in Western Europe, with some Gorbals families living in single-room dwellings shared by multiple generations.

Scotland supporters returned home with some Boston souvenirs
Dumgoyne Hill, the head of the sleeping giant, as viewed from Glasgow.
Dumgoyne is a hill prominent on the edge of the Campsie Fells and is a well-known landmark. It is a volcanic plug and is 427m high. It can be readily reached from a path beside Glengoyne Distillery.
Top marks to the @scotrail driver who rescued the white dog wandering on the lines at Hillington West around twenty to six tonight.
Our train stopped a few yards short of the platform, and I saw this wee fella trotting along the railway line beside us. Thankfully our service and two Glasgow-bound trains stopped to let the dog get where it needed to be.
We got off and from the bridge saw the dog had made its way back up to the platform. The next train slowed to a crawl and stopped beside it. Although itโs hard to tell from the distance, it looks like the driver opened the cab door and the dog jumped in.
Hopefully the dog enjoyed the ride in a Class 380 and was safely reunited with its humans!
