Two episodes into #Lanterns and we may be cooking with all-time gas. Potential to reach crazy heights in terms of quality. Little 'True Detective' & 'Fargo' mixed in, but entirely it's own thing. Kyle Chandler & Aaron Pierre with incredible chemistry.
MUST-WATCH label.
At Fort Knox, we've come to see the gold!
Our country has about a hundred and forty-seven million ounces of gold, and about half of it is stored here at Fort Knox.
We're gonna be going deep underground to see the gold, but more importantly, we're gonna be talking today about what happened to our dollar when we separated from gold in 1971.
I'm going underground, and I'll let you know what I see in a little bit.
Guy in front of me on the plane yesterday, probably 6'5", 280, meathead, covered in tats. Four-hour flight. Scrolling through the seatback TV, he finally picks Sandlot. Watches the entire thing, doesn't smile or look away once.
The credits roll, The End.
Bro presses "Play Again." Watches Sandlot again. The Jet steals home (for the second time) right as the seatbelt sign goes off at the arrival gate. No phone, no e-mail, no music. Just back-to-back Sandlots from ATL to Boise.
Unbelievable energy.

Patriots rookie QB Behren Morton on a recent interaction with QB Drake Maye:
“I told Drake that him and I had a little Drew Bledsoe/Tom Brady type thing going on. He looked me with a blank face and said I was Brian Hoyer at best”
I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.
