@caffeinsomniac@JoJoFromJerz I’d prefer my hard-earned tax dollars go to this man to make up for what our idiot President intentionally put him through than have those funds go towards an unnecessary ballroom, a giant tacky arch, expensive modifications to an airplane or so many more wasteful pet projects
@Buster44503907@mmpadellan Do you realize the oath that EVERY person who has enlisted in the US military took REQUIRES them to resist unlawful orders? It’s right there at the end of the oath: they must follow orders in accordance with the law and the UCMJ. Why would you want them to follow illegal orders?
@Thanatos144@gtconway3d Trump’s sexual assault case had a jury: It found him guilty of what the judge described as “rape.” In his tax/real estate fraud case, Trump CHOSE to not have a jury trial; the judge found him liable for >$450 million. The jury in his election fraud/hush $ case found him guilty.
@RandPaul 2of2: That money gets paid to AMERICAN workers! So, not only are we not sending troops to Ukraine, US is boosting the economy in the process. All to help stop Putin from illegally overtaking a US ally’s country. Stop them now or more of Europe or even Alaska might be next.
@RandPaul Stop lying @RandPaul: most aid US provides to Ukraine is by sending US military’s older equipment + armaments + food, medical & other supplies. Most $ allocated then goes to AMERICAN companies to replenish new equip/armaments for US military and to make the food & supplies. /1of2
@DaphneKG1004@simonateba Scandalous. He stopped when she hugged him. His right hand was likely on her arm/shoulder while the next guy grabbed his left hand. He didn’t ignore her. Petty doesn’t look good on you.
@JayVTheGreat@simonateba That’s your complaint? Wow. Petty. Yes, she hugged him. He paused for the hug. We can’t see his right hand, but he likely had it on her arm or shoulder or perhaps even around her, embracing her while the next person was grabbing his left hand. In any event, he didn’t ignore her.
@gsd_chris@DGrayTexas45 But he didn’t ignore her. Earlier in the video he greeted her, they exchanged hellos, she smiled brightly, and he moved on to others. Same as he did with everyone there. Don’t be fooled by edited video clips put out by folks intent on tricking you.

@PincayChris @kylegriffin1 Given that the org name is “Launchpad” - which could easily be related to “launching” Truth Social as a public co - that definitely makes sense. Scam a few mill, spend it on buying DJT stock, and when he can cash in his stocks in it, he’ll collect many times that. What a scam.
@Cosmos5950@Mamaofthreebear@John_Q_Skeptic@jimsciutto Victims of crimes have a definite right to a speedy trial, as well. Trump chose to steal nat’l secrets and jeopardize nat’l security … which makes U.S. citizens the victims. Victims have rights, too.
@the_resistor@kaitlancollins I agree: at its heart, the trial is about Trump deceiving voters. That makes voters the victims, and we deserve to watch the trial. Commentary over it isn't needed, just use stationary cameras and run it on CSPAN or PBS. What's the actual harm in documenting the proceedings?
@KGreenberg_ All that is true & damages his credibility, but the fact remains that his testimony just corroborates evidence and previous testimony by other witnesses. Whatever his motives may/may not have been aren't really the issue. Fwiw, he may have feared for his wife w/o being threatened
@bearrobb@KGreenberg_ I'm just spitballing here, but it might have something to do with all the evidence and corroborating witnesses that Bragg and his crew have trotted out first that support all of Cohen's claims.
@MichaelSocialT@RyanLizza Well, Noem, herself, recorded the audio version of the book … so she deserves half the credit. She just “forgot” the part about correcting any errors … that she didn’t seem to object to when she recorded it. That oughta count for something, shouldn’t it?
@SiebelBen@RyanLizza Well, except for that one time when she, herself, recorded the audio version of it and didn’t object then to any of what’s written in it. But other than THAT time ….
@LitmusTaster2 @RyanLizza Well, unless you don’t count the time when she, herself, recorded the audio version. But other than THAT time she hasn’t read it.
