@FootballRamble It’s down to earth. It’s the go to football podcast. No pretentious journalists, no ex pros who “know” better. Just a bunch of guys who love the game, but don’t take themselves too seriously…….other than Luke.
@danbardell I’m sad Dan. 4 years of upward progress maybe killed off in a flash. As it stands we cannot compete in the CL and PL without serious recruitment. That can’t happen. Saying that though, we did pay Louis Barry 35- 40k per week which is mind blowing/idiotic.
@piersmorgan@ga11agbon Piers. You need a hug from that twat iamspeed. At least then you can can find someone who agrees with you on this point. Gabby is spot on.
@TyBracey It will certainly be lowball, but ultimately it will happen. I’m so irritated with this currently. Reminds me somewhat of the time we sold half the O’Neil squad. This time we are financially sound, but the rules state otherwise. This could be a really difficult season for us.
@ClonesCyclone Elite level boxer. 100% in that group. No need to compare as it’s pointless and probably impossible based on current sports science etc. Usyk is a pound for pound phenomenon.
@visegrad24 Man makes lots of money from being an elite level driver. General public get angry at man for making too much money for being an elite driver and deciding to live outside of the uk. Mans job is to travel the world driving with one race being in the uk. Public furious.
@AfcGrey_ Structure makes the difference. Coaching, rather than managing makes the difference. Money means you have more options (bigger squads), unlike Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, Sunderland. Arsenal have a ridiculous squad and I suspect it is a huge % of turnover.
@Common_SensePod@benhoobs It’s reduced substantially over the last few decades. Yes, it hasn’t disappeared completely, but it’s not good. What’s your point?
