Remind yourself, Chhau Goth is a physical structure, whereas Chhaupadi is a practise. Either in Achham or Kathmandu, we are following Chhaupadi, maybe just a modern Chhaupadi in the city!

It was my first & hopefully last encounter with Chhau Goth at Raniban, Achham. However, demolishing it is not a solution as menstruators are forced to sleep in open space like fields. We need to programs that can help to shift the attitudes & behaviors. Long way to go. #period
