"There are billions of pounds coming into the public purse which we can use to protect people against both the heatwaves and cold snaps we’ve seen this year."

@BoMoBill@cousins_pete @vikki4mdnp The recycling bins were removed because they didn't work. The contents were contaminated because people didn't bother to sort. What's needed is for outlets to stop using single-use plastics. Reusable schemes are coming
Great turn-out for guided walk on Talbot Heath next door to Highmoor Farm - led by local naturalist Nick Dobbs. Lots of interest in how to #SaveHighmoorFarm
Great to spend the morning out on Talbot Heath, talking to @itvmeridian about ways we’re working to protect the natural environment here.
Chatted to some workers at Highmoor Farm, which is currently at risk from development. Keen to see how we can keep the farm in some capacity.
Spent Saturday out on Talbot Heath with @KarenRampton & @ConorBurnsUK.
A tremendous amount of local concern about new developments potentially coming forward next to the heath. And a particular affection by so many for Highmoor Farm.
We’ll be fighting to find the best outcome.
💚Do you want our local community to become cleaner & greener?💚

Chris. We need your support to save Bournemouth & Poole's last remaining urban farm - Highmoor Farm from development. It's protecting wildlife rich Talbot Heath SSSI from being completely surrounded by development. Contact Nick #savehighmoorfarm
Hi @ChrisGPackham - Hopefully the campaign to save one of the most extraordinary urban lowland heathlands in Southern England will resonate with you. If you ever want to take a look - give me a shout.
