JUST IN: The Trump administration is preparing sweeping sanctions against the International Criminal Court, the WSJ reports.

The sanctions would block most transactions with the ICC, including transactions in U.S. dollars, potentially cutting the court off from much of the global financial system.

This would come on top of the sanctions the Trump administration has already imposed on ICC judges, prosecutors and other officials.
