I lost money, read so that you donāt. I recently started at @fomo but been trading crypto from @coinbase and @cryptocom for a very long time. This app dragged me into meme coins. My first meme coin trading was @dogecoin then @ShibainuCoin. I have called out many successful coins in the early stage. I have lost so much money in the process getting scammed by rug pullers as well as scammers.
This is what I have learned. If you trade coins that are less than 250 K market cap and find a good coin, that can change your portfolio for good. Even though I was holding $Cate from 50k market cap but when first FUD happened, I sold everything. Same thing with $cc I was holding since they were 20k but got nervous and sold everything. Now they are playing in millions.
Trading coins over 10 million market cap becomes very difficult for those who are not millionaires.
Coins under $250k market cap that ācan skyrocketā are almost exclusively ultra-high-risk microcaps or brand-new memecoins (mostly on @solana via @Pumpfun -style launches). The vast majority go to zero or get rugged. A tiny fraction deliver extreme multiples, but timing, luck, and avoiding scams matter far more than any narrative. This is not financial adviceātreat any position as speculative gambling money you can afford to lose completely.
Reality Check on Sub-$250k Tokens
ā¢These are typically hours to days old, with thin liquidity (often under $50k), few holders, and extreme volatility.
ā¢24h moves of hundreds or thousands of percent happen, but so do 90%+ dumps in minutes.
ā¢Common failure modes: developer dumps, liquidity removal, wash trading, honeypots, or pure abandonment.
ā¢Reliable public data for ābestā ones under this threshold is scarce and changes by the hour. Most article lists of ālow-cap gemsā actually discuss tokens in the $5Mā$100M+ range.
Where to Look Yourself (Real-Time)
Use tools like DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, or similar:
ā¢Filter Solana (or Base/ETH) pairs by market cap under $250.
ā¢Require minimum liquidity (e.g., $10kā$50k+) and recent volume.
ā¢Sort by trending, volume, or price change (1h/6h/24h).
ā¢Check: holder count growth, buy/sell ratio, locked liquidity, contract age, social mentions, and basic security scans (honeypot checkers, rug indicators).
Examples of the type of activity that appears in these filters (these are not recommendations and can be dead or manipulated by the time you check):
ā¢Brand-new meme tokens with animal/AI/celebrity/politics themes that gain short-lived social traction.
ā¢Tokens showing sudden volume spikes while still under ~$200ā250k.
Specific names and CAs rotate too quickly for any static list to stay relevant or safe.
What Separates Temporary Pumps from Total Failures (Still No Guarantees)
Look for (and verify yourself):
ā¢Organic two-sided volume rather than one-wallet buys.
ā¢Rising unique holders.
ā¢Liquidity that is locked or reasonably sized relative to market cap.
ā¢Some narrative or community signal that isnāt pure paid shilling.
ā¢No obvious red flags (unlocked team tokens, anonymous deployers with prior rugs, suspicious contract code).
Even tokens meeting these can still fail hard.
Practical Advice
ā¢Size extremely small. A $100ā500 position that goes 10ā50x is life-changing relative to risk; larger sizes in this tier often end in total loss.
ā¢Prefer slightly higher-cap names ($1Mā$20M) with actual volume and history if you want somewhat less pure lottery-ticket riskāthough these still carry high odds of large drawdowns.
ā¢Always verify the contract address on the explorer, check liquidity locks, and use multiple scanners.
ā¢Never FOMO into something solely because someone claims it āwill skyrocket.ā
DYOR rigorously.

If you have played Retro Invaders and the RETRORUN 2087 demo then you know I do not copy these games 1:1 from the originals.
I add at least one new mechanic entirely and completely re-skin the visuals to match the Retrowave theme I am building on.
I could have very easily and lazily just copied a bunch of games 1:1 with little to no effort and put them on the website with payments connected and just soaked up the Solana and not cared about the quality.
But I didn't. I launched with 1 game and a dream. I wanted the early believers to get in and be able to see the progress, to see where we started and how far we go. That kind of journey is an experience you'll very rarely find in life.
Every game I build gets very carefully gone over and tested to make sure it FEELS as good as possible to play it even on free play mode.
I intended to maintain that same level of quality and consistency with every release, so while I apologize for what may seem like long development times between games, in reality I am not actually sorry because the quality of the game is more important to me than the speed in which I am able to put it out. This is a fundamental problem with a LOT of game studios out there, they cave to the pressure of public demand and end up releasing unfinished slop that does more damage to their brand than just making players wait longer for a finished product ever could.
This is why I am here. I have the opportunity to do things the right way, to build games in a way that puts the players first, not revenue. I vow to make these games so good that even regular gamers who avoid crypto will feel tempted to try it.
We are just getting started.
Thank you for playing Retro Arcade.

100,956,865 $ORLIX has now been burned forever. š„
Every agent mint burns 300,000 $ORLIX.
The deflationary cycle is live. $ORLIX supply keeps shrinking with every mint.
Not sure if anyone knows but when I try to sell some coins (not all) I canāt sell at @fomo. Even though the price is steady but canāt sell because of the price impact.
37 days since launch.
