Isolating Hax$ from his passion, community and source of income while he gets cyberbullied under every tweet for 2 years was the wrong call. It's not a "culture war" thing to believe this. even if the worst person you know said it. many normal melee players believe this too.

TOs are a finite resource, so it is better to encourage change in the existing protocols and processes than to call for their removal. That said, the complete death of the smash scene is preferable to having another case go the way of Hax.

We should move away from attitudes like "It's only a game bro" and "TOs should have the right to arbitrarily ban whoever they like". It leads to corruption.
